Announcement: It has been a great many years of breeding
Cockers, there have been many highs such as finishing multiple
champions of my own breedings and many lows like the loss of my
beloved Harry an his sister. After a lot of thought, tears and
back of your throat-pit of your stomach heart break. I have
decided to make two drastic changes in my life.
One has a very sweet ending and the other is putting the kids first
and making them
the primary focus.
I will continue on with three Cocker Spaniels,
Ch. Aj's Neville Longbottom aka Neville.
Ch Aj's & MHC's Born To Cause A Ruckus aka Ruckus
Aj's Heebee Jeebie
The rest of my Cockers are for sale.
They are all micro- chipped, AKC registered, shaved down and many
boys are DNA'd.
Almost all have Patella's done.
I am not planning on giving them away.
They will not be dirt cheap.
I am requiring a 1/2 down non refundable deposit for any of the
dogs,
I do not care if they go to breeder homes, I am just looking to
place them!
FULL AKC REGISTRATION is available on almost all of them.
Please contact me by clicking the Contact Us button on the left side
if you have questions.
The females and males page have the prices listed.
We currently have some puppies available for sale.
Some people have looked at my site and have commented to other
people
about what they think is possibly going on.
But in all reality nothing is going on.
I have devoted years of time, money, countless hours, and dedication
to my animals.
This truly is a life style. No vacations, it's always about
the dogs, post pone a
holiday because we have puppies, kids can't have friends over all
the time,
the kids can't go to extra activities as it does not work with dogs
or dog shows.
Meeting up with people on the weekends which takes hours out of the
weekends
that I could of been with the kids instead of in a car.
Countless times of me grooming on the weekends or doing some type of
repair or remodeling
for the dogs or the dog building.
I have 2 yrs left before my oldest goes away to college and I am
sorry, but
I want to make those last two years count. I feel that I
owe him that much and his brother.
So, if giving my kids a better life offends you. I am sorry.
I love my kids and I want only the best for them.
Family raised American Cockers Spaniels with Champion
Pedigree's. Most of our dogs are AKC Champions and all AKC
registered. We strive to create the
total package in a Cocker Spaniel-
health, temperament, confirmation, brains and this in all coat
types
and colors including Roans and Sables.
When breeding for myself, I want a beautiful, elegant, nice plush
heads, graceful and
intelligent companion all the while conforming to breed type.
We have produced Am. Cocker Spaniels with many titles.
Int. Ch., Can. Ch., Am. Ch., Apri Ch.,
Agility, Hunting, Rally, Delta Society, CGC, S.T.A.R
Puppy Program, Trick Dog Title,
best title yet loyal companion.
And some of our dogs have been televised on tv.
State Licensed and Inspected Sept 2011
AKC Inspected and in FULL Compliance 10/17/2011
Vet Inspected Nov 1, 2011
Which is required by our state and most states.
We do not sell our puppies/dogs to wholesalers, brokers or dealers.
I am on many
Cocker list including show and all bred dog lists so I can stay up
dated with all the new products, what other breeders are doing, what
works and what does not work. As well as any recalls on toys,
cages, food.
I am part of an AKC Kennel Club in my area and I just put my
application in for being part of
the
AKC Breeder Of Merit
program with AKC who showcase great breeders around the USA.
I have really started to come a long way
and I believe other peers can see that too.
We are also proud to
announce
I made the
Top Breeders for the 1st 1/2 of 2008
Our female
CVJ's Sassafras is on
Top Producing Bitches 1st 1/2 of
2008
Recently, all of our Cockers being used for breeding have been
tested for Patella's
Nov. 1, 2011
as Cocker rank #3 for Patella issues, over Cockers ranking #119 for
OFA's.
We are also trying to help our breed as Tgen is doing research
testing.
They are looking at genes that contribute to health problems.
They are currently doing a cancer study as well as investigations of
other complex disorders
ranging from epilepsy, immune mediated disease, and eye disorders-
a unique opportunity for the breed, and through the diligent support
of Spaniel owners,
Veterinarians and Oncologist, they have been collecting DNA samples.
As a breeder feel it is my duty to help when I see fit.
I swabbed all my dogs including puppies.
I take great pride when helping research when it helps our breed!
The kids are very much a part of raising our puppies and dogs.
They play a very active roll in socializing them.
The puppies get hands on from day one.
Each child spends an ample amount of time playing, holding, talking
to,
kissing on, hugging, sleeping with, watching tv with our
puppies/dogs.
We are located
where Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota meet.
I am approx 40 minutes West of Sioux City, Iowa/ South Sioux City,
Nebraska Our house sits on a acreage. There
is 150 acres plus of crop land surrounding us.
I have been involved with Cocker Spaniels since I was a child as my
parents raised them.
They were popular growing up when Disney put out a movie
called,
"Lady and the Tramp" who showcased a Cocker Spaniel.
My kid brother and I would handle the puppies, play with them and
give them silly names.
A Cocker Spaniel was all I ever knew as being a family dog.
Our neighbors even had one of our dogs off-spring who was a buff
male named Jake.
Back in the 80's we had a Champion black/white named Charlie and my
dad talked about Charlie constantly- " A great dog".
Our oldest Cocker Spaniel "Jack" a silver buff male died at his old
age of 17.
On hill side we laid him to rest with a homemade box.
Many tears were shed that day. . .
Jack pictured below with Dad in 1987
In memory of my dad John M. Webb 06-19-54 to 09-04-09
My father had been with me every step of the way on this journey in
raising cockers
He was the one who got me into raising this wonderful breed in the
first place.
He put a puppy in my arms when I was a child.
With the deepest gratitude I wish to Thank my father who brought me
to this point.
Who inspired, touched and illuminated me through his love and
passion for the American Cocker Spaniel.
I did not start out wanting to be a breeder.
Gizmo a black male came into my life and he needed a companion.
Dutchess two years later joined our family, today she is 11 yrs old.
Years went by before they had a litter of puppies and one of the
buyers of the puppies
researched Gizmo's pedigree to find he was out of Champions.
I then started the search into pedigree's
and looked into the Cocker Spaniel World more.
With this new information I wanted to learn more and I am
continually researching and learning more and more it seems
everyday. Who knows it all?
I have learned
about Contracts, Shipping, Pedigrees, Payment types, Coat types,
Genetics and now grooming my own Cockers.
A new adventure is which is showing.
Learning the in's and
outs of the show world
and the verbage to go a long with it.
How to keep parti's white, which shampoo's and conditioners to
use,
Which food not to feed and what supplements to add.
We
are starting to make our own dog treats because of the recent dog
food/treat recalls.
The quality of our dogs did not happen over night but many years.
Many nights looking at pedigree's, photos of dogs, and reading a lot
of material.
Finding out what you like and what you don't like
as well as who is back stabbing who as the Cocker world is very
political.
Everyone seems like they know it all and never are wrong.
Everyone thinks they have a perfect Cocker with their lines
never having any issues, but there is no perfect cocker.
Cocker Spaniels in general are loaded with health issues.
Many phone calls to other breeders, watching hundreds of dog shows,
traveling from one side of the United States to the other.
This process was not immediate and a lot of trial and error.
Many thousands of dollars later.
There is TONS of work just to keep them groomed and cleaned.
The motto here..... "It's All About The Dogs"
Many things we do around here is always about the dogs.
Can you leave to go on vacation- nope, we have dogs.
Have not taken a vacation since 96'.
When buying a vehicle we make sure a cage can fit, when needed for a
dog show.
We looked to find a property out in the country- had to make sure of
zoning laws.
We go to buy a couch, make sure it has the right material so it does
not embed dog hair.
Out with the carpet in whole house- lay down hard wood floors.
Take out linoleum put down tile- chew proof.
This is just a small amount of what happens.
We are also proud to
announce

As far as SUCCESS:
It was quoted Success is piece of mind obtained only through oneself

2008
What a GREAT YEAR!
We have three
homebred champions and one bred by some one else.
We have finished four Cocker Spaniels in less than 6 months.
We have our 1st homebred Champion CH Aj's Lord Voldemort aka
Riddle
Our 2nd homebred Champion is CH Aj's Neville Longbottom aka Neville
Our 3rd homebred Champion is CH Aj's I'm Parti Trained aka Tru
Our 4th Champion is CH CVJ's N Aj's Can't Buy Me Love aka Shazam
We have two other females that are just a major away from finishing.
In 2009
We had some extraordinary puppies out of our
own two Champion boys.
Aj's Aine Loves Ya aka Rae started showed with our prior
handlers until they could no longer care for any dogs
to the point they neglected and abused many of their clients dogs.
Rae's showing was short lived because she is afraid of stuff now.
Talking to other clients who had their dogs with the same handlers
it seem across the board with their dogs having now fear.
Rae although pointed is now staying here and will not show.
Her brother continued his show career under Kendall DeSanto
of course after de-matting him for hours and getting his coat back into
condition.
He did become a champion later in 2010.
In 2010
Ch. Aj's Lord Voldemort produced some awesome kids for Aj Kennels.
Ch. Aj's N MHC's Born To Cause A Ruckus aka Ruckus lives at Aj
Kennels
became a Champion on 03/20/2010 handled by Kendall DeSanto.
Ruckus also won his class at ASC- Winter Nationals.
We also finished Echo Ch. Aj's N Coldry's Electric Ave.
In 2011
Ch. Aj's Neville Longbottom produced some gorgeous kids for Aj
Kennels.
Royal aka TDCH,Int./Am Ch. Aj's Royal Wizard CGC, RN is pictured at
the top of the page
owned/loved and trained by
Linda Allen.
Royal goes Best of Winners for a 5pt major and becomes a Champion
in Feb 2011.
He also obtained his CGC and completed the AKC P.A.W.S. program.
He is the 1st American Cocker Spaniel to obtain the Expert Trick Dog
Title.
No other Cocker in the USA has this title and only 31 dogs has ever
received this title.
All this under the guidance of his owner Linda A.
In Oct 2011 Royal obtains his Champion Trick Dog title he the 9th
dog in the World
to obtain this.
Aj's Royal Enchantress ETD aka Spice out of
Ch. CVJ N Aj's Can't Buy Me Love x Ch. Aj's I'm Parti' Trained
currently has two 4 pt majors in the Spring of 2011.
Spice earned her Expert Trick Dog title making her the 3rd
American Cocker Spaniel in the World to obtain that title.

She went Best of Winners and Best of Opposite over a Specials
picking
up a 4 point major in Des Moines, Iowa under Judge Carl Liepmann.
Amy was a little over 5 yrs of age when she became a Champion!
Amy's and Elliots puppies Twister and Ruby who are on the prospects
page
showed nicely at that same show in Des Moines, IA
Other news.
I attended an Educational Seminar put on by Royal Cainn and AKC
in August 2011.
One would think that just
having the dogs would be it.
Nah, not at our house..
We have other animals here.
A Great Dane named Tango aka Doo.
Many chickens which is loved by Jaden.
2 African Grey's- Husker and Tweety.
We have a couple outside mouser cats.
Of course my other love which is horses.
Animals are a very big part of our lives and we love them!
The boys love the dogs/puppies and they play with them just like I did when I was a
child. The boys love to play fetch with the dogs and tag with
the puppies. I try to make sure all my puppies go to great homes
with loving owners.
Although I am mother to my boys I feel
that I am a mother to my puppies. Mothers never stop being
mothers and they can not be compared with any other. From the
time the puppies are born to the time they leave our home I am a
helping mother. I try to make sure all the puppies get what they
deserve and need just like my children.
I give away puppies
once in a while to those who can't afford a quality
cocker spaniel.
Such as families with children with special need because I too have
a child with
special needs and know how a puppy can help socially and mentally
get through trying times.
I do allow some of them to come with AKC papers, but they are with
Limited Registration
Spay/Neutering agreement.
Besides my
love for cocker spaniels I try to give back to the
community. This year is going to be all about volunteer
work.
I believe the boys will learn life lessons through hands on
experience.
I also enjoy website design, taking photos, reading
a good book, movies,
watching days of our lives, going to dog shows
and traveling. I try to make the best of what God has given me
as we are only here temporarily.
My parents
raised Cockers when I was a child and I still love
them. They are the all American family dog in my
eyes.
