Pretty's sire: Ch. Che-Lee's Radio Flyer
I never understood why
Pretty didn't look Sable, but then she didn't look black either.
Recently, I have discovered the answers after talking to another
breeder.
That Pretty is actually a seal.
She is not a black, which I once though.
She is not a sable including a black sable.
Nor is she sun-sunbleached.
She has a reddish/brown cast to her coat and it has been visible
since birth.
She herself has produced puppies just like her.
I also find it interesting that when I did a breeding with
Ch. Keystone's Haulin' Ash x Ch. PBJ's Boot Scootin' Boogie
that they produced two boys that are very close in appearance to
Pretty.
On both occasions that the sable was to a black/white.
I have then bred Pretty to a parti color and she produces the same
thing.
Pretty got her name
because I believe she is very pretty.
I sure wish all my cockers had heads like her.
She reminds me a lot of her sire.

Pretty has stopped her show career and came back home.
Pretty was to much of a mamma's dog to be in the ring.
She did not like it at all.
I missed her being away from me.
